A comprehensive scholarship listing and resources that can help pay for college will be listed here ASAP. There are a variety of scholarships available to future college students and not all require a 3.0 GPA, financial need, or US citizenship. Please take some time to read through the list and apply to the ones that your student meets the criteria for. At the end of the listing are website resources that have additional scholarships.

Eligibility: women who plan to attend university or college during 2012-2013 school year, Santa Cruz resident, demonstrate a commitment to achieving their goals (High academic achievement is not a condition of eligibility!) The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

 $1,000.00: The program is open to any prospective applicant, residing in California or Hawaii who is an American Citizen, planning to pursue an eligible vocational/technical (voc/tech) course, culminating in a terminal associate degree, diploma or certificate, but less than a baccalaureate program (Bachelor's degree).
