Counseling “Blast” – March is Home, Health, and Recreation Month.  This is a great field for people who want to help others feel better.  If you like sports and know you could help others get in shape, then being an Athletic Trainer is a career you should explore.  You could train individuals or help individuals recover from an athletic injury.  With training, entry-level salary would be $11, but would increase with experience.  Your Counselor can tell you more or go to www.cacareerzone.com Career Technical Education.  It pays.

Budget Cuts – Upcoming cuts are threatening Soquel High and you individually.  What will you do?  If you are interested in making an impact on your education, join your fellow classmates and Santa Cruz City Schools in a protest downtown in front of the Clock Tower today Thursday 3/4 from 4-5p.  It is up to the students to preserve our education.  For more details contact Ciera Dudley or Daniel Schwartz.

Infinite Campus – Make sure you are checking Infinite Campus for your attendance.  If you neglect to check it, you will be unable to make corrections after three days, and you will have to live with the outcome.  See Ms. Britton or Mr. LaBarre in the Library if you need help with your account.
