EXPLORE ENGINEERING
Attend Cabrillo College's ENGR 5 Engineering as
a Profession course and begin receiving college credits while in high
school. Through the use of class discussions, videos, tours, design
projects, and speakers from industry, ENGR 5 students will explore the
many options of an engineering career.
Spring 2009 semester on Thursdays, Feb. 12-June 4, 2009, 2:30-4:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m.

Please
come to our first "brainstorm" meeting for the 2009 Grad Nite
Decorating Committee on Tues. Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the school Staff
Lounge. Times are tough, the budget is small and we need your help to
create a fun and exciting evening for our seniors. You don't need to be
artistic. Just come with your ideas and let's see what we can create.

The
B-Movie Kings will play at the Crow's Nest on Jan. 3. Enjoy classic
rock from the KFOX Last Band Standing Finalist and Crow's Nest Favorite
while also helping out the Soquel High Grad Nite Committee to raise
funds for a safe and sober graduation party for the class of 2009. A
portion of your ticket price will be donated by the Crow's Nest and
raffle tickets will be sold inside. Music starts at 9:30 p.m.
Agreement:
All seniors who wish to participate in the Graduation Ceremony must
sign and return this agreement by Jan. 15, 2009. Seniors received a
copy in their Government or Economics class last week. Signed
Agreements may be returned to Mr. Mehuron's office.
Grad Night
Tickets: Save $15 on your grad night tickets by buying them before the
end of the year!Purchase them for $85 in the front quad at brunch on
Monday, Dec. 15, or on Thursday, Dec. 18. You may also buy them
evenings on Dec. 17, outside of the band concert, or mail your check
and forms in by 12/31.
NEW YEAR, NEW SHOW
The Soquel High
School Knights of the Square Stage will present "The Diviners" by Jim
Leonard, Jr. on Friday, Sat., and Sun., Jan. 9, 10 and 11, at 7:30
p.m., 3 p.m. Sunday matinee, in the Soquel High MPR. Tickets are
available at the door or from cast members, only $10, $8 ASB student
stickers/ Senior Citizens.
